This 15-second video provides a simple and appealing message to raise awareness of the high salt content in many foods. It encourages people to compare food labels and choose items with less salt (lower sodium), to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. Each DVD contains three versions of the video, one in each of English, Spanish, and Portuguese. These public educational materials were adapted from an original campaign produced by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. This project was made possible by funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
