Care, Share, Bond: New Parenting Strategies

This DVD provides helpful suggestions for new parents about managing stress and achieving balance with a new infant. Included on the DVD are tips for parents that emphasize that it is important to:

• Care (maternal self-care)
• Share (the importance of sharing information and feelings with your provider and other parents)
• Bond (the reassurance and support parents may need, especially those experiencing depression)

Also included is a segment for care providers on how they can help their patients in the transition from pregnancy to new parenthood. Eight parents share their experiences as new parents in the "Digital Stories" section.
